The scarless tummy tuck also does not require a long extended hospital stay for recovery. Patients are usually released the same day of surgery to recover in the comfort of their own home.
Potential patients should be aware however, that during the first four to six weeks after the mini-tummy tuck, they may still have a bit of pain, swelling, bruising, and tenderness in the surgical location. There are more rare and serious complications that are possible, such as infection, slowed healing, bleeding, or even skin necrosis. The key to a healthy recovery is the strict compliance with the surgeon’s post surgical care instructions.
